Avatar Vision Proudly Presents: It's still Midnight - a tribute to owls and roosters.

Time once again for another Millennium music video courtesy of our video guru Josef. Each and every week Josef locks himself away in The Spotnitz Sanitarium and creates another musical montage in the hope that we can reach another potential campaigner via the power of Youtube and I know you guys have come to enjoy his work and look forward to it. You can help this campaign by joining Josef and making a video of your own. It needn't be something as complex as a music video, a simple recording of yourself talking about support for this campaign is all we need. Give it some thought.

This week turn our attention to Season Two's episode two part extravaganza, Owls and Roosters. Civil unrest is abound at the very heart of the episode as two of the factions of The Millennium Group, the theological Owls and the secular Roosters, fight for supremacy in the midst of the discovery of the The True Cross. Millennium group members, Frank Black and Lara Means find themselves caught in a struggle as the very existence of The Millennium Group is threatened by the nefarious Odessa.

An epic two-parter needs an epic musical treatment right? Well it has one. Sit back and enjoy these seven minutes and more dedicated to one of the darkest eras The Millennium Group was to face.

So don't be shy. Let Josef know what you think of his latest creation and tell us what you think about the episodes in questions. Are they really as epic as I have made them out to be or did all the civil unrest leave you, well, a little restless. We want to know your thoughts so please do leave us a few comments as we really enjoy hearing from all you good people.

As promised, each music new release from Josef will be accompanied by a postcard that we urge you to send to Steve Asbell at 20th Century Fox. Making 20th Century Fox aware that we are here to stay and active in our support of a Millennium Movie is a vital way you can help this campaign achieve its ends. We are regularly asked what is the best way to help this campaign and there is no finer way than sending this postcard. The only way we can bring this show back is to make some noise and continue making that noise. That's how we will bring Frank Black back.

Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow: don't delay, write today!

As you are all aware, a letter/postcard writing drive is at the very heart of our efforts and the team at BackToFrankBlack cannot emphasize how much Frank Black's future depends on a simple contribution from you, our supporters. The cast and creative team are united with the fans in wishing to make a movie a reality, it is 20th Century Fox that we need to direct our attention to.
With the festive season fast approaching we have listened and we understand that not all have time to print and sent postcards, like the sterling efforts of Richard, so here's how you can help. In an homage to 'Midnight of the Century' we urge you all, strongly, to give five minutes of your time to 'Frank Black' during the festive season.

Whilst you are writing your Christmas cards this year, write an extra one for Fox Executive Steve Asbell. If you can find a card depicting an angel all the better. Simply mirror the card Frank received in that very episode, write, 'It's the Midnight of the Century', sign it and add the website's address, BackToFrankBlack.com and pop it in the mail. Better still get your friends and family to do the same or send multiple cards yourself. Such a simple gesture will make more difference than we give credit for.

Make your voices heard this Christmas and give 'Frank Black' the best Christmas present anyone could give, a movie in 2010!

Send you Christmas cards to:

STEVE ASBELL
Twentieth Century Fox
10201 West Pico Blvd.,
Bldg. 88, Room 132
Los Angeles, CA 90

Keep your eyes peeled folks for BackToFrankBlack's Christmas celebrations which are fast approaching us. Monday 14th December sees a whole week of events dedicated to "Midnight of Century" including plenty of exclusives, and I do mean exclusives, for you guys to enjoy. We hope you will join us for the fun.

Postcards from the edge: Richard campaigns for the return of Millennium!

As I've no doubt said, ad infinitum, we couldn't do it without you guys and we still get asked what's the single most important thing we can do to help bring Frank Black back. Sending letters and postcards to 20th Century Fox asking, politely, for a Millennium Movie is the most vital contribution you can make to this campaign. If you love the show, and the character, as much as we do please take time today and demonstrate that love. Send a postcard today and make a difference.

The photographs you are viewing right now are an example of one campaigner's efforts to bring Frank Black back to the screen. Richard Ovenall threw his support behind this campaign a long time ago and has never wavered in his faith and conviction that Frank Black should come back and these postcards are a recent demonstration of that faith. This is not the first time Richard has written to Fox so if you've already written, write again. We need to make our voices heard and never stop shouting.
I have uploaded a new postcard pack with the address you need to send the postcards to and I hope each and every one of you will send one today. Join with me in thanking Richard for his tireless work on this campaign's behalf, for his support and his friendship and here's hoping he inspires you all in some way. It doesn't hurt to demonstrate to those that care about the franchise that we are still very active in our efforts to see it return.

    HERE'S DIRT'S THING: HUMAN ESSENCE!

Ladies and gentlemen it's time, once again, for our masked avenger, wrestlemaniac and super powered reviewer DiRT to cast his x-ray vision upon another episode of Millennium and direct his considerable following in our direction in the process. This time we venture into the strange world of ancient eastern magic and pharmacology for season three's Human Essence.

If ever there was a Millennium episode that inspires unilateral uncertainty from fans then Human Essence is, sadly, that episode. Written by the then show-runner, Michael Duggan shortly before his departure from the show, Human Essence tells the story of a tormented Emma Hollis forced to choose between her half sister and her career as an FBI agent as she embarks on a journey to discover the truth behind a series of drugs related deaths.

What we want to know is the episode as problematic as people would have you believe? Is this episode a misunderstood gem, an unfairly criticised outing or an episode worthy of its reputation as something of a misfire. I asked DiRT to take and look and let us know what he thinks. Enjoy the show.

    video

So now you know, that's DiRT's view of Human Essence and now we want to know yours. Did DiRT hit the nail on the head for you or was he so wrong you actually wondered if he was on the same drug as the one in the episode. Dust
down those keyboards and tell us what you think. Rest assured, DiRT reads all the feedback he gets so don't be shy.

As always, every new video we add to Youtube, or is
added to Youtube for us, reaches out to a whole new audience and may find a Millennium who never knew of our campaign in the process. Don't forget, keep sending those letters and postcards to Mr. Steve Asbell.

As always, lend your considerable support to the man and go visit his own websites and find out what it's all about. Remember, every video made for the this campaign is an indispensable way of reaching out to a potential new campaigner.

Seven and One: A profile of a Millennium Fan!

We have continuously reminded you all of the need for fans of the franchise to demonstrate their appreciation of Millennium in order to provide evidence of the wide support the franchise continues to elicit. To this end we asked you to consider taking a few moments of your time to complete a simple questionnaire that we can utilise.

Here are the results of one such questionnaire. Tymek Masiakowski (Tim to his friends at TIWWA) took the time to share his thoughts and we truly grateful to him for doing so. Please click on the image to open in in a new window for easy reading.

Please keep these coming and do not hesitate to send us all your thoughts and queries on anything Millennium and Frank Black related and you do not have to use your real name to qualify. If you would like to complete the brief questionnaire I have listed the questions below for your perusal. Email your "seven and one" profile to info@backtofrankblack.com and we will share your thoughts with our readers shortly.

    1. About You.

    2. Why are you a fan?

    3. How long have you been a fan?

    6. If a movie was made which characters would you like to see in it?

    7. Why do you think Millennium should come back?

We are constantly trying to devise new and exciting ways you guys can get more involved in the campaign and the ways in which you can do this are not limited to our suggestions and creativity alone. If you have an idea for a way you would like to contribute to the campaign do not hesitate to send us an email. We will respond to each and every one of you. We look forward to hearing from you all!
