Happy Birthday Lance Henriksen!

All of us at Back to Frank Black would like to wish Lance Henriksen a very Happy Birthday! It's hard to believe that someone who keeps up the demanding schedule that Lance does is turning 71!

From Dog Day Afternoon, Aliens, Near Dark and Millennium to Hard Target, Lance has produced a body of work that can be matched by very few in the movie and television industry. Still, with all that work and critical acclaim from many top insiders, Lance remains as humble as ever. Still the consummate professional, still wanting to perfect his craft, Lance has shown what it truly means to be an artist in the entertainment industry.

Speaking on a personal note, I have had the privilege to get to know not only the actor, but the man himself. I can safely say that I can call Lance Henriksen a friend. He is truly appreciative of all the fan support that he has received over the years and thanks all of the fans who have done so throughout his 35 years in the industry. But don't fret, Lance isn't done yet, with several movies already in the can and several more projects on the way, he continues to stay busy. Most importantly, he just released his autobiography Not Bad For a Human. You can order the limited edition of the book by going here.

Although we wanted to do something on a grander scale, Lance asked us to keep it simple. So, all of us at Back to Frank Black ask you to take the time out of your busy schedules and leave Lance a birthday message. We know that he will be very happy to see the well wishes from all his fans!

Happy Birthday Lance from Back to Frank Black!!

Happy Birthday Troy Foreman!

His plan is success, and nothing will stop him from achieving his goal to bring back Frank Black. As such, there can only be one ruthless, dominating icon that I can lazily montage which to me screams Troy Foreman mash up!

I just love the pointy finger!

It's Troy's birthday - he's 68 today, and possibly needing some Viagra and stuff (yeah, that word will bump us on the search listing), but pity the old man with much false love like I do!

Happy Birthday Troy!

Happy Birthday Brittany!

The image says it all really - Brittany puts another year under her belt, and I hope it's not too ungentlemanly to tell you all the fair lady's age - she's twenty today!

Ah twenty, I remember twenty... fifteen years ago. Full of hope... aspirations... visions of a perfect future, before reality tore them asunder like a wicked step-sister clawing at my dreams of going to the ball with my perfect glass slippers...

Hm, but I digress! Brittany, from myself, Troy, the crooks and cronies at Back to Frank Black as well as the fans who support us, we wish you a happy birthday full of hopes and aspirations for the perfect future!

If you missed Brittany speaking to us, here's the Christmas episode of the Millennium Group Sessions with Brittany, Megan and Lance chatting for the first time in many years!

Happy Birthday, Adam Chamberlain!

Although there is a lot going on with the Back to Frank Black campaign, we still need to take time out and acknowledge special occasions. Well, today we send out a very special Happy Birthday to staff member Adam Chamberlain! Adam has been a longtime Millennium fan but has just recently become a part of the Back to Frank Black team. Adam has such insight into the show that he now writes his own weekly column called What the Killer Sees.

I hope you all will take a moment and wish Adam a very Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday, Klea Scott!

It is always better late than never! With that being said, Back to Frank Black would like to take this moment and wish actress Klea Scott a very Happy Belated Birthday! Klea's birthday was on December 25th!

Klea has been a big supporter of our campaign and we truly consider her a friend. We hope you all will take a moment and wish her a Happy Birthday as well in the comments section.

We recently spoke with Klea and found out that she is in Canada filming right now and as soon as we have more information on the project, we will pass it along.

Happy Birthday, Klea!

Happy Birthday Christina!

Back to Frank Black would like to take this moment to wish fellow staff member Christina Nicholls a very Happy Birthday! Christina is one of the newest members to our team, but she has already made a tremendous impact on the campaign!

Christina, from all of us and the Millennium fandom, Happy Birthday!!!

Happy Birthday, Joselyn Rojas!

Today marks the birthday of our very own vidder - to use the parlance of our times - the wonderful and talented Joselyn Rojas!

Joselyn's will be a familiar name to followers of this campaign as well as online fans of The X-Files, with her hugely creative talents frequently adorning both fandoms. As well as her occasional column Joselyn's Eye, in recent weeks and months alone she's brought a stream of fabulous videos to illuminate this very blog. To name but a handful, included amongst them are those celebrating the female leads of Millennium - Catherine Black, Lara Means and Emma Hollis - not to mention the impressive awareness video for our ongoing Children of the Night charity auction. The Back to Frank Black blog would certainly be less cinematic without her creative touch and, for that matter, our meetings would be altogether less colourful!

So, all of us here at Back to Frank Black would like to wish Joselyn Feliz CumpleaƱos and we invite you to do the same by joining us in telling her how wonderful you think her work is too in the comments section.

Happy Birthday, James McLean!

I hope you all are enjoying our fantastic Halloween Week! We just got confirmation from "Thirteen Years Later" writer Michael R. Perry that it was him who recently left a comment on our blog! How fantastic is that? So, while we enjoy that bit of information, let's take a quick breather and pass on some very important news.

Yesterday our good friend James McLean celebrated his birthday. It would be criminal for us not to take time out to wish him a very happy birthday. James, as I am sure you know, is the one who started the Back to Frank Black campaign back in 2007. Little did I know that having James as a guest on my podcast at the time would lead to me becoming a part of this fantastic journey we are all taking.

With everything that has gone on with the campaign, good and bad, James has always kept an upbeat and positive attitude which definitely rubs off on everyone around him. He's made the last several years working on this campaign an absolute joy! So, James, here's to you my friend. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Please show your birthday love for James by leaving him a comment. I know he would enjoy it.

Happy Birthday Chris Carter!

A very warm Happy Birthday from all of us at BacktoFrankBlack and all those who follow this blog. Today is 13th October -- 1013, if you will (a company name followers of Chris' work will be familar with).

So raise your digital glasses and toast the creator of Millennium and the wonder we celebrate here on this blog everyday. Have a great day!

Happy Birthday, Mark Snow!

A special Happy Birthday to the campaign's dear friend Mark Snow! All at BacktoFrankBlack wish him a very happy day!

Happy Birthday, Graham Smith!

Just a quick "Happy Birthday" to our constant BacktoFrankBlack hero, Graham Smith.

For those who are in the dark rather than in the (Frank) Black, Graham is the guy behind the website Millennium: This Is Who We Are, TIWWA forums and Sarah Jane Redmond.com. He's also the guy who hosts Backtofrankblack.com. He's appeared on our podcasts and supported us behind the scene both technically and for advice (yes he really is The Old Man).

His birthday was a couple of days ago, so a Happy Birthday to the godfather of Millennium Fandom!

Happy Birthday Millennium: TIWWA! 9 years old!

Happy birthday to Millennium: This Is Who We Are! who celebrates their 9 years of Millennium support this week! That's pretty good fine damn amazing well going! If you've not visited This Is Who We Are - please do so. It is the quintessential archive for all things Millennium (and a vital resource for myself and Troy when it comes to interviews!)

I personally have a great affinity for Millennium: This Is Who We Are, through that resource site I was introduced into the internet web community.

"Last year, 2009, Millennium - This is who we are (excluding our forums) received over 87,000 absolute unique visitors, almost 125,000 visits and almost 476,000 page views. Millennium may have concluded on television years ago, but interest is clearly far from over. Don't forget that you can help show this by supporting the campaign to see Frank Black return at BacktoFrankBlack.com, Lance isn't done yet, and needs your backing to deliver the good message that Frank still has work to do.

Thank you for visiting the website over the years, and long may you continue to return for many more." Graham Smith (Webmaster)

Give them a warm birthday greetings on their forums.

HAPPY SEVENTH ANNIVERSARY TIWWA!

Seven years ago to this day a very momentous event happened that would forever shape the future of the Millennium Fan Community. Graham P Smith, gathered his Elders around him and formed TIWWA, a haven for souls appreciative of Millennium and Lance Henriksen and pining from the loss of the show and the loss of Frank Black. Over the last seven years, TIWWA has grown to become the single most important hub in Millennium fandom and Graham is, undoubtedly, the single most important figure in that fandom. He goes by the screen name, The Old Man, and like his namesake, he is our Old Man in more than name.

A few years ago, Graham asked me to become a member of his staff team. It is the thing of which I am most proud in all my years of loving Millennium and were it not for TIWWA and for the support of Graham, BackToFrankBlack.com would not exist today. TIWWA was the haven from which this project was born and it remains the heart of this project, perhaps more-so than ever, today. I am proud to be a member of that forum and proud to call Graham my friend.

Please join with me in raising a toast to TIWWA, to Graham P Smith and to every good soul who has helped build our community into the finest, and I mean the finest, fan community is existence. Happy Birthday TIWWA, long may you reign!

Mark

BackToFrankBlack wish Chris Carter A Very Happy Birthday!

Chris Carter needs no introduction but as it's customary to follow those very words with an introduction allow me to do just that. Christopher Carl Carter (born October 13, 1956) is a screenwriter, producer and director best known as the creator of The X-Files and Millennium. Upon the creation and production of The X-Files in 1993, Chris Carter started a production company called Ten Thirteen Productions. It is named in honour of Carter's own birthday and anniversary, which is October 13. It will not be lost on any of you that today is that very date.

For any fan of Millennium or The X-Files, Ten Thirteen resonates as far more than a collection of numbers. Not only is it the birthday of their creator but those numbers appear throughout the episodes of all Ten Thirteen's output in recognition of the man who created them. Spotting them makes for a great drinking game I am told but due to the frequency of their appearance that might not be wise.

Yesterday I was contacted by a wonderful lady and ardent Ten Thirteen fan by the name of Joselyn, who shared with me a rather stunning video she has made to commemorate this special event and pay her tribute to Chris Carter and his wonderful work. It is a pleasure to bring her video tribute to you today and I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as do!

I thought the video was beautiful and a true testament to the creativity Chris Carter's various visions inspired, and continue to inspire, in the countless individuals who are fans of his work. On that rather wonderful note I hope you will join with all of us at
BackToFrankBlack and Chris Carter's fans the world over in wishing him a very Happy Birthday!
