MILLENNIUM GROUP SESSIONS 10:

While we state in the podcast we have no name for the new FOX address to send your letters and your postcards, we do now. Troy has edited the new address into the podcast - so you'll get the name (Mr Steve Asbell) even if on the podcast myself and Troy suggest otherwise. There was only enough time to update the address we offered in the original cut! If you see!

Anyhow, for easy reference - here's the address to send your letters and postcards! JM

Oh my giddy aunt!!

That aside, a different podcast, a quieter one but a very powerful one as well.

What was the name of that website to do with the charity auction, the one with the three letters? I've forgotten since it was mentioned in the podcast (only just finished listening to it, so apologies for forgetting the website name).

I added to the thread on Big Light Productions' forum earlier. Someone asked on the Horrormovies.ca forum about Millennium as they had never seen it before. If no one else has explained the programme to them by tomorrow night I will reply with a description that hopefully won't be hard to understand! As trying to explain Millennium in a short post is hard to do.

Excellent podcast and here's to year two!

Come on guys, it's not THAT hard.

Jósef is after all an international name, how hard can it be.

YO-SEF! Icelanders don't have that d-sound at the beginning of the letter J, as in the "Judge".

I can listen to you guys babble on about anything and you make it fun and interesting.

I loved that fox picture, so cute, awww...

Cheers from Iceland!

OK, well... where to start? I reaaaally enjoyed the podcast this time, it was nice to hear you guys chat in a more laidback atmosphere, and the year review was a necessary pause for breath before the great things to come.
I love hearing Klea and Lance say "We are Backtofrankblack," that's a gem.
And I was already planning to give you the biggest thanks on earth for getting

THE GREAT AND WONDERFUL JAMES MORRISON

on the podcast, when you drop the other bomb... CC? An interview with Chris Carter?? Whoa... That's immense...
Year two promises to be fantastic. However, I hope it gets interrupted by the very good news we've been fighting for since day one! :)

Yes Chris Carter is almost utterly confirmed Diego. Very exciting eh?

Year two will be fun - Chris Carter, Megan (confirmed), charity event, James Morrison (looking forward to that too).. such a humble podcast as number 10 carries such potential for the future!

It was great to hear all the updates and to have a little look back at the year past.

All of you at BTFB deserve multiple Medals of Honor for your hard work. The fact that you do this on your spare time is incredible. I have a hard enough time fitting in a listen to the podcast, the odd response on the blog and getting out the post cards with my schedule. I don't know how you do it.

Keep up the exceptional work and mere mortals such as I will do what we can to help!

Suggestions for other MM guest cast members for future interview podcasts in year two:

Brittany Tiplady (Jordan Black)

James Marsters (episode "Collateral Damage")

Juliet Landau (episode "Forcing the End")

Lindsay Crouse (episode "Kingdom Come")

anyone from one of my fave S1 episodes "Marantha"

Dean Winters (episode "The Curse of Frank Black")

Bill Smitrovich (Bob Bletcher)

the actor who played Giebelhouse

Amy Steel (episode "A Single Blade of Grass").

Happy Anniversary...I can't believe it has only been one year...

Thanks for the shout out. Me thinks you guys try to hard. It is pronounced weigh man.

I must agree with Diego. Year two is looking to be a profound year. With the Megan interview and Chris Carter...what are we going to do when the news breaks that a movie is under production??? Find out where to get tickets!!!

Wave Crest..wonderful suggestions. I just watched Marantha on Chiller. I would love to hear an interview with Darren McGavin from Midnight of the Century.

I thought I posted on here last night but I guess it must have gotten eaten or something. LOL

When Frank and I started our little podcast a little over a year ago, we thought that no one would listen and we would do it for a few episodes and that would be it, but who knew that over a year now and we are still go strong!

I remember so many years ago when a little show called Millennium came on the air. Frank and I were both huge XFiles fans and of course Lance Henriksen fans and Frank just loves Terry O'Quinn so we of course were going to check it out and absolutely fell in love with it as did everyone else. Who knew back than that this one show would have such an impact on our lives today.

A little bit after we started Spooktalkular Frank told me about a small group of guys who were wanting to bring Frank Black back and Millennium. Of course we signed on immediately and I am sure they regret that now. LOL :) I don't know how Mark found us but I believe he and Graham were the first ones to start emailing us about the campaign. Its amazing too think knowing this campaign from the beginning how much it has grown in fan size and in all other aspects.

I remember the Sunday that James and Troy were on our show being interviewed about the campaign and their launch of Millennium Group Sessions that same day. It was an honor to have them on and is still an honor to have them on anytime.

I remember listening to the one podcast that James was talking about me and how he shamed me into buying our DVD boxset and felt the need to apologize to me. haha no apologies needed and I think that is when our friendship between James and I really took off and it seems that Frank and Troys seem to take off too. I think we both gravitated to the one we most felt that we shared the most in common with, me being the absent minded, fumbling around co-host like James and Frank and Troy having to put up with us and our inadequacies! haha lol

It has been a great year and a fun ride and I really do hope you two the best for year 2 and I know great things are just around the corner for you guys with all the wonderful news you have been given. I love you both dearly and will always consider you my friends for life. And thank you for the kind words in the podcast and I love being a creative muse! I am not sre on Frank though! LOL :D

Rhonda - Sadly Darren McGavin passed away a few years ago.

Bit of trivia for you on Midnight of the Century. That was one of the rare MM episodes to be given a PG certificate by the BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) in the UK.

RSWehman said... September 18, 2009 at 1:53 AM

I did not know that Darren McGavin passed away. He was a great actor. I loved his Night Stalker...way back when. I guess I won't be hearing any interviews with him. I am saddened by this news. Thanks for passing that along.
I didn't know about the PG certificate by the BBFC. I think that is awesome. Midnight of the Century is a very significant episode in MM history. I think it is one of my favorites. Is it possible to have too many favorite episodes???

This Is Who We Are!!

Why I said it was a rare episode of Millennium to get a PG certificate, was because most MM episodes have been given a 15 or 18 certificate by the BBFC.
