It's a celebration: The Yellow House!

As you are no doubt aware, BackToFrankBlack is now one year older (you can debate amongst yourselves if we are any the wiser) and our resident Scorsese, Josef Gunnarsson is treating us to not one but two videos this week to mark the occasion. Josef has turned his attention to The Yellow House which very much became an entity in its own right for fans of the franchise. Every celebration deserves a toast so pour yourself a glass of whatever you have to hand, toast all those, yourselves included, involved in this campaign and raise your glasses to Josef Gunnarsson and all his tireless support and enthusiasm. Bottoms up!

Everything we do is more than mere entertainment. It is a way of spreading the word, keeping our supporters interested and finding new ones along the way and the hard work of folks like Josef have brought good people, like Lisa, to our attention. Lisa not only took the time to write about the campaign at her fantastically enjoyable blog but shared with me her own efforts to bring the attention of 20th Century Fox to our campaign.

Joining Lisa, and many others, in sending postcards to Fox (click here for the address) is the single best way you can help this campaign achieve its ends. Recent news has brought our goal well within our sights. Lance Henriksen is prepared, as we speak, to join Chris Carter to discuss the future of the franchise and we need you to keep up the pressure on Fox to support their intentions.

Before you do anything else today print this postcard and send it with a polite request for a Millennium Movie. One year later we are so close. Let's bring this baby home.

Here's Dirt's Thing: A Single Blade of Grass!

Ladies and gentlemen it's time, once again, for our masked avenger, wrestlemaniac and super powered reviewer DiRT to cast his x-ray vision upon another episode of Millennium and direct his considerable following in our direction in the process.

DiRT told me that he wanted to select an episode for this week's review that would encourage debate, and no doubt polarise our supporters, regarding the merits of a particular episode so there's no finer candidate for such a discourse than A Single Blade of Grass.

Written by Erin Maher and Kay Reindl this episode tends to polarise the opinion of fans with some loving the episode and others loving it not quite so much. Glen Morgan commented that the original concept was very different from the results we see on the screen and lamented not standing firm in the face of outside pressure to shape the episode a little differently. Without further ado, over to DiRT for his point of view.

So is he right or is he wrong? Tell us your opinion of this oft debated episode and don't hold back, we're big fans, we can take it.

As always, every new video we add to Youtube, or is added to Youtube for us, reaches out to a whole new audience and may find a Millennium who never knew of our campaign in the process. Don't forget, keep sending those letters and postcards to Mr. Steve Asbell. Frank's Army Fights on!

As always, lend your considerable support to the man and go visit his own websites and find out what it's all about. Remember, every video made for the this campaign is an indispensable way of reaching out to a potential new campaigner.

EXCLUSIVE CAMPAIGN MERCHANDISE - BUTTONS

As promised I am pleased to announce our latest range of campaign merchandise this time in the form of inexpensive buttons, the sale of each will result in a very small profit which will help support this campaign and allow us to look at more costly forms of promotion in the future.

Our first range features the much asked for Frank's Army button which will show your solidarity with the cause and help us to spread the word as each button comes emblazoned with our websites address. Buy them, share them and help Franks Army march ever onwards.
And just for fun, and to help in the task of raising funds, I have designed twelve comical buttons based of some of Frank Black's most memorable foes and an extra one just because I'm fond of Averie Maddox - I think I'm allowed just a little artistic licence every now and again.

Each button costs just over a pound and is an inexpensive way of supporting our campaign and getting yourself a little piece of campaign memorabilia in the process and if you have a little loose change spare why not purchase a few and mail to them to Steve Asbell: one more little push in the right direction never hurt.

So head on over to our button store, peruse the range and consider making a purchase yourself. Don't loose sight of our goal, keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing you all wearing your Millennium pride on your lapels. This is who we are!

Avatar Vision Proudly Presents: As Strong As Eye Am!

Time, once again, for MusicMonday™ and our foray into the world of Millennium Music Montages. After celebrating the likes of Lucy Butler, Lara Means and Catherine Black, there really is only one woman left in Frank's life to turn our attention to and Josef has done just that with his latest video (I can think of one fan of this character in particular who is sure to get a kick out of this.) So without further ado, it's time to leave the popcorn in the cupboard this week and instead grab yourself a packet of origami paper to fiddle with as you watch. All will become clear!

As always, we thank our resident video alchemist Josef for taking this campaign and continuing to plug it in the vast abyss that is Youtube and we hope you will feel in some way inspired to follow in his footsteps and donate a little video magic of your own.

Don't forget to leave your gushing praise, and we expect nothing less, for Josef in the comments section and as our first year of existence softly leaves us, Josef has prepared a little something to commemorate our anniversary - more on that later in the week. Who knows, maybe all his hard work will inspire you to do something similar.
