Here's My Thing: TEOTWAWKI

It has been a while since we've heard from our resident episode reviewer, DiRT, but I am happy to announce that he is back and better than ever. Some say he was a victim of the Marburg virus, some say he sort of went the route of Lara Means, but nonetheless, he is back!

Today DiRT takes a look at the season three episode "TEOTWAWKI," offering his unique take on the episode. What sets this review apart from his other reviews is that this time, he has a special guest join him, so to speak.

Enjoy the video, and make sure you leave comments on the blog letting DiRT know your thoughts about the episode and his review of it! And don't forget to head over to the site where DiRT and the rest of his pop culture friends hang out and discuss toys, video games, comic books, and much, much more. They have revamped the site and it looks fantastic. Just follow this link

That special guest was a surprise! Ha! Nice interplay, guys. Does this mean that Troy is watching us always, like some fanboy Big Brother, just in case we make some disparaging remark about season three? That's enough to send a shiver down your spine!

I just wonder what else he was watching while I was "doing things" around the house...

HAHA! This was all DiRT's idea and a good one. He made me look good. As usual his review was spot on. He even got a glowing review from Tom Wright.

Great review. Never watched any of his MillenniuM reviews before.

Troy would hate this, but I still haven't seen almost all of season 3. I just bought the box set, though, and I intend to watch the whole thing from start to finish. And then I'll watch the X-Files Millennium episode.

To cronagnumman.... The XFiles Crossover is not that good in my opinion. It could have been wayyy better but Frank Black was there so...

Oh yeah. I agree. It was only average as an X-Files episode and sub-par as a MillenniuM episode. But I figured it's important to re-watch it since I'm going through the whole saga again.

Nice review! You mentioned a lot of stuff that I didn't even notice because I sat there, mouth agape in astonishment, as the story of that episode took a sharp turn from daring to ludicrous.

I remember, when watching the teaser for this episode, I thought to myself: "My god, they're actually going to tacke school shootings!" In a show that was as relentlessly bleak and daring as MM, you could've at least expected that they would deal with such a sensitive issue in a serious way.

What did we get as an explanation? The Y2K scare??? Seriously??? I mean, it was kind of a moderately big thing at the time. But... school shootings? Jesus Christ!
