A Black Christmas: Lance, Megan and Brittany unite!

Back To Frank Black are proud to present one major event of 2010 for the campaign. Today, 26th December (Boxing Day to some), we have a very special podcast lined up, available through iTunes, iPhone, Android, Flash Player or a direct link download!

Lance Henriksen, Brittany Tiplady and Megan Gallagher unite for the first time since the show. The podcast recording is pretty much raw - there's none of our usual intros or editing, this is the three talking for the first time, honestly and organically. Originally pitched as a "Midnight of the Century" interview to co-incide with Christmas, this interview immediately becomes what it could only be in these circumstances - a reunion.

Guys, thankyou so much for this, it was amazing hearing it. I loved the show so much when it was on over here late at night years ago (I'm in Belfast, Northern Ireland) and I've never stopped revisiting it despite it being off the air for so long! Millennium seems to have a very devoted core audience that never really went away and thats so cool to me - when I used to watch it noone I knew had heard of it or wanted to listen to me going on about it. It reminds me a little of Twin Peaks and how it has lived on through fans and conventions etc. I would love to see this happen with Millennium, and you guys are making it happen!

Anyways - Lance, Megan and Brittany, if you are reading this, its been great hearing you so many years later - you were all fantastic in Millennium and you made up the essence of the show. I particularly remember the scene where Jordan was being lowered into freezing water and was really distressed - you played that so convincingly Brittany. Its one of my favourite episodes.

Generally, its great to hear all three of you talking so passionately about your memories on the show so many years later.ou some across so genuine and nice people, I feel like I know you personally after listening. I had a smile on my face listening to it, and it has genuinely been a fantastic gift. I am itching to get re-watching a few Black Family centric episodes now :)

Troy and James - thankyou (and thankyou again for letting me talk on the top 5 podcast way back, July I think it was!

ps - Brittany - complete your collection, get season two!

Peter

What a delightful 'family' reunion! Thanks so much for enabling this to happen. All these podcasts are a treat for us fans, but this one is special for being so joyful.

AMAZING! No other words to describe it. You can feel the love. Its so rare to hear in "Hollywood" the cast getting along. This is genuine.

This was amazing. Thank you so much Lance, Megan, and Brittany--and to the entire BTFB staff. Own the series and still record the show on my DVR off of Chiller and watch when I get home from work in the morning. Loved hearing your Christmas stories. This was a real treat for me as a fan, and it's even better because it sounds that you three had a great time doing it. Merry Christmas to you all and have a great new year!

Such a joyous, genuine occassion. I'm so happy (for them and for the fans) that these 3 got their reunion. and not only was it a good one, but they shared it with us. thank you Troy and James for facilitating this epic event. it's like a Christmas miracle. ;-)
and thanks to Lance, Megan and Brittany for making the time to do this podcast.

Thanks for doing this! It's awesome to listen in on this little reunion. As awesome as it is for a fan of the show, I'm sure it was more so for Lance, Megan and Brittany. Best wishes for 2011 to you all!

You guys are so awesome! Thank you so much for sharing this very touching reunion with your fans... it will not be forgotten! Thank you B2FB for making this happen.

Megan, as a pediatrician, I am so sorry for all that you and your family have suffered... misdiagnoses are unfortunately a very common reality. I'm in the PICU and sadly most children with seizures end up with me (in status) at some point... the diagnosis is complicated. Doctors are mere humans. I'm so sorry it took so long for a proper diagnosis, may your twins experience the great care they deserve!

Lance, thank you for your FB page, it is quite amazing to encounter someone like you so down to earth... love your Christmas story with your sister... Have to laugh (I'm soryy) about the checkers... because what the hell does a 5 yo do with checkers... You are always an inspiration!

Brittany, wow, so great to hear you've become such a mature, amazing young adult! You glued Millennium for many of us!
Again, thank you for all the memories, we are all huge fans...

Mostly thank you to Troy and James (and all of B2FB) for this holiday gift!

I finished watching the series yesterday after receiving the final DVD boxset as an Xmas present last week. Having since discovered this campaign blog and the podcast, it's nice to know that there's such support for trying to bring back the series in some form or other.

This podcast made my morning today. A nice Xmas surprise in itself.

Thank you so much for this. Finding your website and podcast has really re-awakened my love for the show. How did you get them all together like this?? I hope you're all well and I'll try to listen to as many of your podcasts as I can. Thanks again.

This was a wonderful reunion for us all to be able to share in. The enduring love that Lance, Megan and Brittany clearly have for one another speaks volumes and that certainly translated on screen too in the Black family's dynamic. They were surely one of the most believable and natural TV families we've ever seen, and that was very important to the heart of the show.

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!!

Are there precedents for this in any other fandom? This is unique and unforgettable.

The one thing that never ceases to amaze me about this campaign is that you're adding so much to the canon of Millennium. These interviews are all essential listens for any fan. B2FB is a surprising treasury - and you just keep surpassing yourselves!

BRITTANY, MEGAN, and LANCE, what can I say... THANK YOU from the heart. You are three wonderful beings and I wish the three of you the best of the bestest.

Lance's anecdotes were hilarious... I found myself laughing quite hard many times during the podcast, and that mixed with the sense of joy and just wide-eared amazement at what I was hearing made this a memorable event.

BRITTANY, you have the most beautiful and heart-warming laugh on the planet. I hope your life is filled with moments of happiness and love. On the show you symbolised for many of us the hope and the light, and I'm glad to see you do so as well in real life.

Troy - man, I loved your "This is amazing"s throughout their conversation. That's what we were all thinking!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Diego

Fabulous, just a fabulous interview!

I think Lance should sign a set of Checkers and donate it to COTN-auction!
