Friend or foe? Introducing Lisa Sikorski...

It is always a pleasure to welcome new campaigners to the fold and this time is my pleasure to introduce Lisa Sikorski to you all. Pharmacist, artist and writer by heart. Take a few pinches of literature, a little dose of cute and add to it comic books, watching SyFy and Chiller channels, “Torchwood”, wicca, metaphysical studies, all things goth, being sarcastic and pondering the sanity of the human race after 20+ years of working in retail and the end result is a very entertaining and thoughtful Blog writer worthy of anyone's attention.

Did I mentioned that Lisa is a Millennium fan? Well she is, in spades and took time out of her busy, and wildly eclectic, schedule to support this campaign and bring it to the attention of her readers and we are indebted to her support. You can see the end result here and I'm sure you'll agree with me it is a welcome effort on this campaign's behalf.

So please do pay her a visit and extend to her a warm welcome to the family. Once again, our thanks to Lisa for such a generous donation of her time which we are only to happy to repay 'cos this is who we are (yeah, I know you saw that one coming.)

Hi Lisa.

Welcome to the family.

I did read your blog about Millennium and Lance Henriksen a few days ago. I noticed Mark's ungodly twittering while on a night shift during a dead time.

And it was a good blog, a fascinating read. I didn't know all that of Lance. Not that I've done some research. I do have more respect for him now than ever after reading this.

And you are really talented. Purdy jewelery and awesome pencil pictures. You would make a mean Frank Black, I just know it.

Always fun to hear and see from new voices that advocates the return of Frank Black.

Lets make some noise...white noise...but this time everything is EVERYTHING!

Cheers from Iceland!
- Jósef

Allow me to join Rhonda, Murv and Josef in welcoming Lisa to family. I couldn't agree with Rhonda more, every day seems one step forward towards our goal. In the best Battlestar Galactica tradition we have found friends and allies along the way who have added their voices to ours and called for the return of Frank Black and we are appreciative of each and every one of you.

Here's looking forward to the future.

Wow, thanks so much everyone for your flattering comments! I definitely feel a kinship with you all, my fellow "Millennium" supporters! I cannot describe how much I love the show and how much respect I have for Lance. The awesome reception I've received from all of you on this site further proves that die-hard fans of "Millennium" are a unique and eclectic group of fascinating individuals. I look forward to getting to know all of you better through discussions about "Millennium"/sci-fi/horror/metaphysical topics/philosphy and basically anything you want to talk about! Thanks so much for checking out my site and artwork. Obviously, "Pigtails and Combat Boots" is in its early stages, so I welcome any comments or critiques you may have. I plan on focusing a lot of my blogs on SciFi/horror movies and critiquing the ones that are "Made for SyFy" in a "Mystery Science Theater 3000" type of "tongue-in-cheek" approach (any role of Lance's in these movies will of course be reviewed positively, because most of the time he's the best thing in the movie :) ) Anyway, I'm rambling on as usual, so if anyone wants to chat, shoot me an email and I will strive to become an active part of this community. Thanks again to all of you!

Also,
Thanks for the compliments on my jewelry and my artwork - drawing is my true passion!

Spooktalklaura - I will definitely check out your podcast, it sounds like something I would definitely be into. And, I seriously start planning for the next Halloween on Nov. 1st...I absolutely LOVE Halloween and usually go all out (this year will probably not be very extravagant because of some "life drama" unfortunately :( ), but generally I like to say that old Ministry song "Everyday is Halloween" is my theme song.

Enjoyed your article immensely Lisa, you summed up Lance Henriksen really well. He is down to earth, such a good natured person and an amazing actor.

Film makers are so lucky to have him in their productions, it really kills me when they waste his talents. Let this diamond shine!
