LUMINARY WEEK DAY THREE: The Stars Converge!

As you will no doubt be aware, Lance is a supporter of many charities and has asked BacktoFrankBlack to set-up a charity auction with proceeds to go to an organization that looks after the well-being of children.

BacktoFrankBlack contacted Caileigh Scott from charity organizers IBG, a group inspired themselves by the charity work of X-Files actress Gillian Anderson, and have begun work on an event which will use Millennium merchandise to raise money for a children's charity.

The event will be held online at www.ebay.com on the 9th December 2009. Bidding will open on the available items from 9am PST/12pm EST/5pm GMT.

BacktoFrankBlack has contacted many of the cast & crew of the Millennium TV show to aid us in acquiring items to auction and the response has been excellent. Highlighted items that will be up for bidding include Lance Henriksen's two Saturn awards and one of his three Golden Globe nominations for his role as Frank Black on Millennium!

Lance will also be offering autographed scripts from his extensive career. Also in the auction will be the Millennium theme sheet music signed by composer Mark Snow and autographed photos from actresses Sarah-Jane Redmond and Klea Scott. There will also be show props and crew memorabilia being donated. A list of all items and their donators will be made at a later date.

All proceeds will go to the organization Children of the Night (http://www.childrenofthenight.org) - an organization devoted to helping children forced into prostitution.

As we gather items and information, we will pass on when and where the auction will take place. Please keep checking our website and IBG's website for more information.

Let's show our support for these great causes.

I hope I can afford something yet I hope I can't because then they'd have to auction everything cheap. LOL :)

I'm very interested in hearing what other items will pop up.

I hope I can find something I want and muster some money for it.

A good cause. Very cool auction.

Looking forward to the charity auction but I'm going to approach it on the cagey side as I don't want to hint at what I'm interested in bidding for. ;)

Some of Lance's signed MM scripts went for ridiculous amounts of money when they were auctioned off many years ago, no doubt to private collectors who may or may not have any interest in Millennium. The Season 2 scripts were especially sought after.

ok, I am axiously awaiting this auction as well and I have about 2 months to save for it and Christmas is just around the corner so I hope the auction does well especially since it is for such a very worthy cause..

This is how it is, I am a housewife with 2 money grubbing kids, one in college and one 17 year old son who needs to get a job and now has a girlfriend so I feel that will change! lol Anything Millennium would be great but if there is anything Pumpkinhead in the auction I will take you down on bidding for it!! hahha lol Me and Lance plus Pumpkinhead equals love!!! :D

So consider this your warning!! LOL :D

Laura,
I fear for my life and would not bid against you when it comes to Pumpkinhead and Lance but I would love to have those items as well. For I also have Mom syndrome with three kids. One married and in GA, one at college and still close and the third in first grade.
Whatever shall we do to get some of these auction items.
Hope you are well.

Will the charity auction be held only on 9th December, or will the listings start on 9th December and last for a few days?
