Millennial Group Sessions 22: Pablo Coffey

Welcome to the all new, revised BacktoFrankBlack podcast, the Millennium Group Sessions!

This is our twentieth-second podcast! Today we'll be talking with "Wide Open" antagonist, Pablo Coffey for a very enjoyable forty five minutes or so. Pablo is a big Millennium fan and talks about his role in Millennium, his dynamic with cast and crew and his feelings on the show as a whole. A very pleasant fellow - enjoy!

Aside from his role as Cutter in Millennium season one's "Wide Open", Pablo has acted in hit shows such as Poletgeist: The Legacy, De Vinci Inquest, Andromeda, Harsh Realm and The Dead Zone. We are thrilled to have Pablo on the show!

Thank you, Troy.
Thank you, James.
And thank you, Pablo.

As always, great podcast. The pleasure was all mine while I listened to that great fella, Pablo. Loved that story about him listening to Lance and the stunt co-ordinator while he was in the darkness.

I love these little gold nuggets that we get from these podcasts. Something the DVDs were never able to give us, I'm still grateful for the DVDs.

And yes, it's very true about the ego and the short sighted people with money signs in their eyes, they only go with a safe bet that does not stimulate the brain.

Too many shows get the axe nowadays just after a few episodes, very sad. I lament those shows, like Tru Calling, another Fox show which got really interesting near the end of season 1, and was green lit for a second season, but it was axed after six episodes when things were building up and there was no resolution...outside of couple of brilliant blogposts from one of the writers of the show to explain what they were going for the rest of the season.

Enough with my rant.

Cheers from Iceland!
- Jósef

Another interesting podcast, with a number of insights from Pablo Coffey. I agree with Jósef about shows getting axed before their time, which is such a shame given all the effort and money getting them off the ground only to can them so quickly, Harsh Realm and Firefly being such prime examples.

I only just caught this, wow Pablo you were facinating to listen too, I hope you come back again, this episode was one of my personal favorite Millennium episodes, Pablos performance was amazing.
James/Troy I hope Pablo could put you both intouch with his friend that worked on the SPFX on Millennium, he'd be great to hear.
Also James and Troy you both should catch Harsh Realm it's really good, even just check out the Pilot which had an uncredited Lance Henrikson in.
James and Troy thanks for making this podcast come together and Pablo for taking the time out to talk with fans and share some of "you" with strangers out there on the internet, you are a facinating man and a pleasure to listen to.
thanks
