Avatarvision proudly presents: One Hour Doomsday Defense!

Time, once again, for W*****Wednesday™ (well we have to take a break from MusicMonday every now and again) and our jaunt into the world of Millennium Music Montages. Josef has forgone sleep (and you think I'm joking) to beaver away, Avatar-style, to bring you his latest multimedia release and we are truly grateful to him.

Josef takes the time to make these videos because he feels as passionately as we do about bringing Millennium back and anyone who frequents Youtube will know how much support and interest he is enjoying because of it and how many people have discovered us through his work.

'Jose Chung's Doomsday Defense' - where do you start? Darin Morgan is without a doubt a genius. His contributions to Millennium and our sister franchise, the X-Files are rightly heralded as some of the finest outings of both fr
anchises and who are we to argue the masses? Take Darin Morgan, add a pinch of Josef's ingenuity and the following is the result. Grab your popcorn, plug in your Onan-O-Graphs and enjoy the proceedings. Remember: Don't be Dark!

As always, we thank our resident video alchemist J
osef for taking this campaign and continuing to plug it in the vast abyss that is Youtube and we hope you will feel in some way inspired to follow in his footsteps and donate a little video magic of your own.

Now Josef's is a good chap and he relishes the opportunity to hear what you guys think about his work so don't be shy - post away. He regularly spends time hooked up to his own Onan-O-Graph so I can assure you he is very upbeat and not a Nostradamus Nutball at all!

As promised, each music new release from Josef will be accompanied by a postcard that we urge you to send to Steve Asbell at 20th Century Fox. Making 20th Century Fox aware that we are here to stay and active in our support of a Millennium Movie is a vital way you can help this campaign achieve its ends. With am eager cast and crew and the financial support for a film currently being discussed they are the only fly in the soup with regards making this happen. Do not let up the fight. Stand loud and proud and send one more postcard.

★☆★☆Hoo Yah Simper Fi FIRST!
I don't know what I'm the most happy about the new video or coming first for once. Round of applause for little old me★☆★☆

This is my favourite episode of all time. Darin Morgan is one of, if not THE, finest, most original, most fascinating of writers to come from the whole Ten Thirteen team. I love them all of course but Darin is something else.

What a fun, fun, fun video that was and the music was so funny. Where's does he find these tracks.

♥♥♥♥Lovely postcard as well. I do hope Steve is decorating his office walls with these♥♥♥♥

BTW have you dudes seen it on the internet? Millennium is back without Carter? I nearly screamed. is it true? Are we getting more Millennium?

What? Millennium Movie News? Where? Should I pop the cork yet?

Sorry - wonderful video as always and how could it not be? A wonderful episode. Not just one of the best Millennium episodes but one of the best episodes of television ever. Can I join the masses and call Darin a genius? There, did it.

Darin Morgan we salute you!

I would have been first if I hadn't need to sleep, the stealer of time!

Thanks for the blog post Mark, and I would like to find me one of those Onan-O-Boombox and fry my enemies...by accident...of course ;)

Thanks for the comments, and I'm sure there will be more, thanks for those as well.

I thought "this is a short one this week" and then the post credits scene kicked in. That was a wonderful mix of music and the original scenes and it really worked well. You're not shy to play with your own format and I think that's great. Be careful with those Onan-O-Graphs and be sure not to be too dark!

Jósef Karl said... October 14, 2009 at 10:21 AM

I was wondering if I should have that post-credit scene shorter, but we like Lance as a blond, don't we?

When I was watching that episode the other week, I really wanted that sequence to be faster, in your face, not that a punch in the nutballs isn't enough in your face.

I almost cut it after where he says he's Rocket McGrane and would do anything to maintain his upbeatness. I should learn a thing or two from this man and start punching :D

I've been quite busy now with a little side project, and I'm doing my best to have a video for next week and the week after that (since I'll be at the Flashback Weekend in Chicago, so if anyone is going and would like to meet the video meister, then you can contact me via e-mail: josefkgATgmailDOTcom and in the subject line write: Millennium Flashback, and I'll get back to you).

Don't be dark!

No you were right to make scene as long as you did, it's a nice compliment to the music video. You could just tell that Lance was loving the chance to play the fool and Terry was superb in this episode also. Am I right, is that one of the few comedy performances Lance has given? I don't recall seeing him in anything comedic to be honest.

Nice work and enjoy the convention. It isn't too far from where I am but I just couldn't make it due to work. Such a shame.

Have a wonderful time at the convention and be sure to tell Lance about all the hard work you have done to help this campaign. There is all sorts of Millennium news all over the place today and I feel sure we are getting there. Don't be dark never seemed so appropriate!

Very nice indeed. It does beg the question does anyone not like this episode? Wherever you go, whoever you talk to fans always remember Darin's work on the show. It is such a shame that he doesn't do more.

Enjoy your convention and hurry home with pictures of Lance!

I really like this video. Just to show my age, I recall from where a lot of the footage of Charles Nelson Reilly came.

I like the postcard too.

Good job guys!

This Is Who We Are!!

This was simply a superb episode, easily one of the highlights from the second season of Millennium. And it was great having that scene after the end of the music video. I laughed out loud when I first saw that scene (when Sky One premiered the second season in the UK). Looking back at it now you wonder why it worked, but it just did.
