Another splendid podcast.
I have to be careful now, since I might get quoted again.
You guys make the podcast a real joy to listen, both in interviews and on your own.
There were some lewd images that rushed through my mind when I heard the phrase: "smacking the mouse", complete with "millenniumistic" flashes. Stroking your Millennium boxsets is just PG compared to that. :D
I'm sorry if it's a bit incoherent, but it's 4 in the morning now (summer vacation, and I've got nothing better to do thank watching Lost and listening to the podcast as it went online :) and I'm just pouring stuff out here:
The gift, it's again ambiguous in Frank's dialog about his "ability", at least in the first season. It's my understanding that it's because of Morgan and Wong that it really became a "gift" and Frank's passion for jazz came up (which I find very odd, since source music was rather sparse, safe for the first two episodes, then again, in season 2 there were more music montages, possibly to boost ratings, who knows what these executives or producers think).
And the fact that how these flashes were shot and presented. Some could get a sense that he knows stuff he couldn't have known (in some cases, whether it was intentional of the creators of the episodes or not). From the first boxset Carter (in his mind) wasn't aiming for a paranormal explanation to Frank's "ability".
But as the writing is sparse and open, it's open to interpretation and no wonder it became a real gift from season 2 and onwards.
ps: I think you got it close enough, it's pronounced "Yo-sef".
I better get some sleep.
Don't be dark.
Cheers from Iceland!

Josef - we apologise for the mispronunciation. :) Thanks for the comments. We'll probably quote you again next episode!
Hey guys!
Just arrived back home last night from a gig in Tennessee. Saw that the podcast was up and enjoyed it with a few cups of coffee this morning.
I'm amazed that I didn't sound like a complete dork! (LOL)
Thanks again for inviting me to be on the show. I had a blast! :)
Murv
You were a delight Murv. Did our job for us!
Sorry, I only managed to catch up with the last half of this podcast last night but I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. It was a great interview and I hope Murv will return for another podcast one day. I enjoyed his thoughts on the episodes discussed, Lucy Butler, the idea of criminal profiling and Frank's gift/curse. It would be great to have him on as a guest once again to discuss the theory behind more of the episodes.
Thank you very much indeed, one and all!
