Calendar Girl - Letters from Tuesday!

Since her very first role as Tuesday in the Pilot, Kate Luyben has bagged numerous roles in film and television, often appearing alongside some of Hollywood's biggest stars. Her credits include "Two and a Half Men", "Dead in the Water", "Criminal Minds", "Arrested Development", "The 40 Year Old Virgin", "Bad News Bears", "Dark Angel", "Shanghai Noon" and "Dead Man's Gun" and of course her returning role in Millennium as Eva O'Malley/Marta Danbury in ...Thirteen Years Later, to name but a few. Kate took time from her busy schedule to write to me and kindly agreed to let me share her correspondence with you all. No better time than Tuesday to hear from Tuesday methinks.

Now, this was a surprise. I wasn't expecting this.

Nice blog, always fun to hear from more actors and hear some more golden nuggets about behind the scenes of Millennium.

Cheers from Iceland!

I've always thought what a beautiful young lady she is and after reading her thoughts I can see she is a kind, charming and very self effacing lady. Sounds like Ten Thirteen was very much a family to her.

Thank you Kate, for such a wonderful contribution to the show.

★★Aww she's so cool, like her a lot. What lovely things she had to say and how lucky is she to have been a part of it all. A girl can dream.★★

I loved both of your parts in Millennium, Kate. I have to watch Harsh Realm again to see which part you played there. It has been such a long time since I saw the show. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. Would be great to see you again, maybe in a Millennium Movie, maybe this time without any blood and boxes. :)

Greetings from Germany

As Jósef said, this was an unexpected and very pleasant surprise!
Dear Kate, all of your 1013 characters are memorable for one reason or other, but your Harsh Realm appearance in the "Leviathan" episode was especially touching. Thank you for lighting up the screen!
And I really hope Chris and Frank Spotnitz include you in future projects!
Best,
Diego

This is an unexpected pleasure.

Thank you Kate for taking the time from your busy schedule to contact Mark and for allowing him to share your correspondence with us. It was very thoughtful of you to do so and I really enjoyed it. The way Mark set up the blog grabbed my attention. It is nice to see what Kate actually looks like outside of a box and wearing clothes. She is very beautiful and talented. I liked her in Dark Angel and in Harsh Realm.

Thank you so much for sharing.

Kate is such an unsung hero. A constant presence in Ten Thirteen's illustrious canon and one who seems so enamoured of her own success. Tuesday will always be Kate's day form now on. A very memorable lady who seems to think she shouldn't be.

What a touching letter.
